Writing Restrepo and Fallen Angels
Restrepo Pre-Write
2. Restrepo and another soldier die in the documentary and the soldiers have a hard time getting over it like when brew or captain carrol dieing in Fallen Angels.
3. Cornengaul valley was a the hardest time for the toops on Restrepo, Just like Peewee and Perry in the dark during a firefight with several Viet-Congs against them.
4. In fallen Angels the soldiers are constantlty in disbelief of the fatc they are in the war and just wanting to leave as soon as possible. Many of the soldiers at Restrepo, have the same feelings that they want leave.
5. In fallen Angels, they made peace with the civilians and shared bonds with them. In Restrepo they have similar bonds with some of the civilians that share information with them.
6. Restrepo had hooches just like in restrepo, where the soldiers would share time together, sleeping, playing games, and chillen out.
7. The seargants in Restrepo are very well trained and are good leaders yet strict. Seargants in Fallen Angels are very similar, in keeping the troops together.
8. In Fallen Angels strangers would become best friends like Peewee, Perry, and Monaco. In Restrepo, it is the same, because they all become really good friends and build srtong bonds.
9. In Restrepo and in Fallen Angels they both go on tours where they are walking in the night in unfamiliar territory.
10. In Restrepo most of the troops in the base camp leave and go back to home along with peewee and perry.

1. "so it goes" represents life going on after death, which is a unique trate given to Billy form the Tralfamadores.
2. I thought i was like a movie hen Montana Wildhack was naked really brought the sex porsion of the book alive.
3. Similar to some stories where Billy living in two seperate lives.
4. I thought i was different when the tralfamadores put Billy and Wildhack in a zoo on their planet, as an amusement.
5. I thought Billys life was feelingless the way he told the story of his life.
6. I thought it was funny when he describes his wife as being funny.
7. It was funny when Billy would describe a person with bad or descriptive words.
8. I thought it was funny when the book store with Kilagore Trouts books in it, was acctually a porn book store.

10. In the book when billy dies in chapter 6, i thought was interesting because usually the main character doesn't die half way through the story.

14. I didn't like Billy's personality in the book either, it made the book some what boring at times.

Billy: hi Luke i just got back from Tralfamadore.
Luke: Tralfamadore???
Billy: Yea its a planet far, far away form earth, and when i am there for years its only about a second on earth.
Luke: Are u under the use of any drugs or alcohol Billy?
Billy: NO seriously, the planet has living things called Tralfamadorians which are amused by us earthlings.
Luke: That plane crash must have really thrown you over board!
Billy: I live in a zoo their, with famous actress Montana Wild-hack, and we had sex and a child.
Luke: You lucky dog!! she's a babe! NO but seriously get your head out of the GUTTER!
Billy: I have to go, reading another one of Kilogore Trouts books.
Luke: Oh yea ..... quite the author......... good luck with that......hope you can still read after that crash..... get better

Macbeth "being a man blogging assignment"
Context: This quote is about Lady Macbeth wanting to change to a man and make her cruel and heartless. She is also stating manhood is based on relentless remorse.
Interpretation and explanation: This shows that Lady Macbeth has true manliness inside her. A manliness too clean up the killing of the King.
Quote 2. Ross: Your castle is surprised, your wife and babes Savagely slaughtered.... Malcom: Merciful heaven! What, man, ne'er pull your hat upon your brows. Give sorrow words. That grief that does not speak..... (act 4, scene 3, lines 240-247).
Context: This quote shows that Ross and Malcom are trying to give Macduff the manliness too go and kill the betrayed king. Malcom is trying to tell him to get your head on straight and look at the big picture.
Interpretation and explanation: The manliness comes into this through confrontation and persuasion by Malcom and Ross. Macduff finds his man state, and eventually goes after the king.
Quote 3. Malcom: “This tune goes manly” ( act 4, scene 3, line 276).
Context: Malcom says this tune gone manly, which means what Macduff is saying is true manliness. Malcom wants Macbeth dead and he convinces Macduff as well.
Interpretation and explanation: This shows manliness in Macduff because he is willing to partner up with Malcom, in search of Macbeth's life.
Quote 4. Lady Macbeth: “When you durst do it, then you were a man; And to be more than what you were, you would Be so much more the man” (act 1, scene 7, lines 56-58).
Context: This quote means that Lady Macbeth is talking to Macbeth about being a true man. She wants him to be more like a man by showing more action.
Interpretation and explanation: Lady Macbeth is stating this because Macbeth was afraid of the consequences that could come from the murderous crime. Lady Macbeth wants to channel some of her manliness towards Macbeth.
Quote 5. Ross: “Your son, my lord, has paid a soldier’s debt. He only lived but till he was a man, The which no sooner had his prowess confirmed In the unshrinking station where he fought, But like a man he died” (act 5, scene 8 lines 44-48).
Context: This Quote is about Ross explaining to Siward of his sons death. That his son lived an honorable and had true manliness to even step up to Macbeth.
Interpretation and explanation: This shows true manliness because Siward's son showed no fear in stepping up too a king that was untrustworthy.
